Fine Floors By Mathison is owned and operated by tricia Mathison Benvenuti, who is proudly the fourth generation in the flooring business. Her extensive experience and strong relationships with mills, manufactures and distributors, makes her a knowledgeable and diligent resource for all kinds of flooring. 

Tricia formerly ran and managed her family's flooring business for over 28 years, and then went to work with Stockbridge & Berry furniture and design store to deepen her decorating skills. After a few years, in 2015 Tricia decided to open Fine Floors By Mathison to continue serving her customers in Newtown and the surrounding area. Over this time,  Fine Floors By Mathison grew from a retail organization to a full-fledged, residential and commercial business, offering hardwood flooring, carpeting, luxury vinyl tile, and, of course, floor refinishing, which was originally started by her great grandfather.

Fine Floors By Mathison has evolved into a shop at home business! With a larger warehouse, tricia now has more capacity to do more business than ever before! The lowered overhead brings the lower prices directly to you.
